Our Amputee Program offers comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation for patients who have experienced limb loss. Throughout recovery, our goal is to help patients maximize their functional independence, find emotional strength and confidence, and successfully transition back to home, work, and the community.
Our integrated approach focuses on the post-surgical, prosthetic, and reintegration phases to:
- Address proper wound care and limb management
- Increase strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance
- Decrease pain and discomfort
- Train individuals to use prostheses with confidence to avoid complications
