Emory University Hospital Midtown is a full-service hospital that consistently ranks among Georgia’s top hospitals for cancer, cardiology and heart surgery, ear, nose and throat, diabetes and endocrinology, gynecology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, geriatrics and more.

We are a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Bariatric Center, and have a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Our Emergency Department (ED) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency medical doctors and nursing specialists are always on-site.

Emory Bariatric Center at Midtown

Emory Bariatric Center offers weight loss expertise, treatments and technology. We partner with you to provide the best medical weight loss options. This includes the safest and most effective weight loss surgery techniques.


Emory University Hospital Midtown is a MBSAQIP Accredited Comprehensive Facility. That means our program has been evaluated based on nationally recognized bariatric surgical standards.
