  • Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University provides internationally recognized cancer services and resources. We are a leader in patient care and cancer research.

    Winship Cancer Institute offers unique new therapies based on the latest science. We also have more than 150 clinical trials for all stages of cancer and tumor types. All Emory University Hospital patients have access to Winship’s services and expertise.

  • U.S. News & World Report consistently recognizes our cardiology program as one of the top 10 in the U.S. Our hospital is a major referral institution for patients with complex cardiac problems.

    Emory pioneered the lifesaving angioplasty treatment. This procedure is now performed worldwide to open clogged coronary arteries.

  • Emory doctors use advanced imaging techniques to diagnose and guide treatment. Emory has the only PET/MRI system in the state of Georgia, combining two cutting-edge imagining platforms to create advanced imaging for prostate cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and cerebrovascular disease.
  • Our Emergency Department (ED) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency medical doctors and nursing specialists are always on-site. Contact the ED at 404-712-7100.
  • Emory University Hospital treated the first Ebola patients in the U.S. in 2014. Since then, our Serious Communicable Diseases Unit (SCDU) has become an international resource for treating patients with Ebola and other special pathogens.
  • Emory is a leader in treating aneurysms, brain tumors and movement disorders. We were the first hospital in the country to offer microelectrode-guided pallidotomy. This precise surgical procedure treats Parkinson's disease.

    To access the main hospital radiology, park in either the lowergate east or lowergate west parking decks and take the bridge to the main hospital.

    Radiology is located on the 1st floor of the building. If you are coming from the bridge, you will enter on the 2nd floor and will need to take an elevator down to the 1st floor.

  • Emory University Hospital is the only multiple organ transplant center in Georgia. Since performing the first corneal transplant in 1947, we’ve been a transplant pioneer. We’re a preferred transplant center for many insurance carriers and a Medicare-approved center.

    Each year, our specialists perform more than 650 solid organ transplants annually, ranking us in the top 10 for transplant volumes nationally. This includes the heart, lung, liver, pancreas, kidney and kidney/pancreas. We also do combination transplants: heart/lung, heart/kidney and liver/kidney.
