Emory Healthcare becomes a founding partner of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, bringing nationally recognized research, innovation, and sports medicine to the new home for soccer in America.

ATLANTA – Emory Healthcare has been named a founding partner and the official healthcare provider of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, bringing exceptional research expertise, community health programming and sports medicine support to U.S. Soccer’s new headquarters in Fayetteville, Ga., just south of Atlanta.

As part of this milestone, Emory will also serve as the official sports science and innovation research partner of the National Training Center. Situated on a 200-acre campus with nearly 400,000 square feet of facilities and serving as the training home for all 27 U.S. National Teams, the National Training Center is where the future of American soccer takes shape. Through this partnership, Emory will support industry-leading research that advances the collective understanding of soccer-related health and performance while reinforcing a shared commitment to innovation.

Emory’s research teams will support Georgia-based U.S. Soccer Integrated Performance Staff and the Kang Women’s Institute to identify research opportunities. While rooted at the National Training Center, this work aims to improve player health and safety across the soccer ecosystem. The collaboration also includes local community health programming in the Metro Atlanta Area, aligned with a shared commitment to serving Atlanta.

"Emory Healthcare is advancing athlete health, performance, and innovation across some of Atlanta's most respected sports organizations, and we are proud to welcome them as a trusted partner in supporting our operations at the National Training Center," said David Wright, chief commercial officer, U.S. Soccer. "Their commitment to the National Training Center and its mission to serve the entire soccer community will help build the pathways for future generations of players and participants ensuring they have access to resources and opportunities to reach their full potential."

“We are honored to be a founding partner of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center,” says Joon S.
