About Dr. Magliocca

Dr. Magliocca serves as the Surgical Director of the Emory Liver Transplant Program. Prior to coming to Emory, Dr. Magliocca was the surgical director of adult and pediatric liver transplantation as well as pancreas transplantation at the University Of Florida College Of Medicine. He also directed the medical student and resident education components of UF's transplant and hepatobiliary surgery program. He currently serves as an associate editor of the American Journal of Transplantation, the world's most widely read peer-reviewed publication for transplant professionals, and is actively engaged in clinical and translational research investigating the preservation and resuscitation of liver grafts.
