Audrey M. Marsidi, MD FACOG is an Assistant Professor at the Emory Reproductive Center. She is originally from Tennessee, where she attended college and medical school. During her undergraduate years at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN she served as Director of the Rhodes College Women’s Center and was awarded the Scholarship for Academic Excellence. While in medical school she served as Chair of the Student Women in Medicine, Co-Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Interest Group, and was elected by her faculty and peers to serve as a member on the Honor Council and the Committee on Gender and Sexuality. Upon graduation in 2013, she was awarded the Ann Tranum Hawkin’s Award for Excellence in Women’s Health. She went on to complete residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut, where she was invited to present her research at multiple national conferences and received Best Research Award at the Connecticut Research Day in 2017. She moved to Atlanta after completing residency to join Emory University as a fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is actively involved in the clinical care of patients at Emory Reproductive Center and chose to continue as Assistant Professor at Emory University because she is dedicated to providing individualized and compassionate, evidence-based fertility care.
Dr. Marsidi’s prior research has focused on a laboratory model for in-vitro spermatogenesis as well as national outcomes of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) associated with advanced paternal age using data from Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology Clinic Outcome Reporting System. Dr. Marsidi has presented her prior work in peer-reviewed journals and at national scientific and clinicial meetings, including American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.
Dr. Marsidi is particularly interested in infertility, in vitro fertilization, fertility preservation, premature ovarian insufficiency, transgender fertility, and third-party reproduction. She serves as a member on the ASRM Qboost Task Force and as a reviewer for multiple peer reviewed journals. Dr. Marsidi is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Marsidi’s interests outside of medicine include foreign travel, live music, scuba diving, acrylic painting, and spending time with her family.
