Expand Your Skills at Emory Healthcare

Our Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowships offer immersive, hands-on experience, advanced clinical training, and dedicated mentorship. Whether you’re exploring a new specialty or ready to take the next step in your career, our 12-month post-graduate programs are built to challenge and support you, equipping you with the skills and confidence to thrive in specialty practice.

APP Fellowship Programs

  • This fellowship offers rotational experience across cardiology and critical care environments, including heart failure, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease and intensive care units such as the CICU, CVICU, MICU, and SICU. Fellows also receive training in mechanical circulatory support and subspecialty cardiac care, supported by expert faculty and a multidisciplinary team.
  • This fellowship delivers the advanced education and skills needed to care for cardiothoracic patients across all stages of treatment. The program includes didactic instruction, supervised surgical experience and endoscopic vein harvesting training, as well as professional mentorship.
  • This fellowship prepares Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners for success in high-acuity settings. Fellows rotate through intensive care units across hospitals—gaining both broad and specialized clinical experience. The program combines hands-on training with structured didactics, simulation labs and certification in POCUS, ENLS and ATLS.
  • Fellows train across all orthopaedic subspecialties, including joint, upper extremity, foot and ankle, spine, trauma and orthopedic oncology. You’ll gain experience in both clinical and surgical settings while learning from leading experts at Emory’s Musculoskeletal Institute.
  • APPFA-accredited with distinction, this fellowship provides multidisciplinary training in benign hematology and medical oncology. Fellows learn alongside leading experts at Emory’s National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, gaining the clinical depth and support needed to thrive in complex cancer care.
  • APPs gain experience in urological oncology, urolithiasis, men’s health, female urology and surgical assisting. Training spans inpatient care, outpatient clinics and operating rooms across several Emory locations.
  • This fellowship provides education, research, and clinical training in both ambulatory and labor & delivery triage settings. Rotations include General OB/GYN, Family Planning, Urogynecology, Infertility and Maternal Fetal Medicine.

  • APP Council: This volunteer committee leads  educational initiatives, provides strategic feedback and organized professional development activities, including Advanced Practice Provider Week.
  • Continuing Education Programs: Fellows and practicing APPs can access a wide range of learning programs, including monthly grand rounds, leadership lectures, mentor and preceptor workshops, hands on clinical skills workshops, updates in evidence based medicine, and other educational opportunities for APPs.
