Our heart and vascular specialists contributed to the medical textbook The Heart, first published in 1967, and we train 85 percent of the cardiologists and heart and vascular surgeons in the state. Advanced Heart Failure Therapy Center

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Program

Interventional Cardiology

  • Performed the first reported cardiac catheterization for diagnostic purposes, pioneered angioplasty and performed the nation’s first stent procedure

Sports Cardiology
