Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency Program

Gain the education, skills and confidence to deliver the highest quality clinical and surgical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients. This comprehensive and diverse program delivers more than on-the-job training: It positions you for success, today and tomorrow.

Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship Program

As advances in cardiology reshape possibilities, the critical illness care of patients with severe cardiovascular disease becomes more specialized. This fellowship includes training in mechanical circulatory support devices and cardiac subspecialties, all built on a foundation of broad critical care preparation. Includes rotations through cardiac and cardiovascular surgical ICUs, general medical and surgical ICUs, heart failure, adult congenital heart disease, electrophysiology, echocardiography, infectious disease, and nephrology. Program starts in April and October.

Critical Care Residency Program

Emory Critical Care Center NP/PA Residency Program first to receive national accreditation under newly designed pathway.

Get meaningful and challenging training — accredited with distinction by American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation — through this one-year residency program. Rotate through high demand and highly skilled areas, including surgical ICU, medical ICU, neurology ICU, cardiac care unit, infectious diseases, nephrology and trauma. Programs start in April and October of each year.

Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship Program

Over the course of the one-year training program, our fellows will receive comprehensive training in palliative care, learning from various disciplines within the field and across the spectrum from outpatient to inpatient palliative care, as well as home and inpatient hospice. Clinical skills will be integrated with educational sessions (as both learner and teacher) to further refine expertise in the field and grow quality improvement and research interests. Mentorship will be provided along the way as fellows develop into subject-matter experts and continue pursuits as lifelong learners.

Urology Residency Program for Physician Assistants 

Advance and sharpen your clinical skills during this 12-month, full-time program. You’ll gain experience in a variety of locations, including Emory University Hospital, the Emory Clinic and Winship Cancer Institute. Programs start in April and October of each year.

Winship Cancer Institute Fellowship Program

Make a difference in the lives of others in our one-year APP fellowship program at Winship Cancer Institute at Emory, a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center. You’ll have access to training by some of the top experts in the fields of medical oncology and hematology, bone marrow transplant or radiation oncology.
