EUH PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice

Priyanka Aytoda

Priyanka Aytoda, PharmD

Dr. Priyanka Aytoda calls multiple places home, but most recently has lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of Virginia and her Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University. Her professional interests include hematology/oncology. After her PGY-1, Priyanka hopes to pursue a PGY-2 in oncology and ultimately become a clinical specialist at a large academic medical center. Outside of pharmacy, Priyanka enjoys exploring new restaurants, watching movies, and being outdoors.


Kyle Furlow

Kyle Furlow, PharmD

Dr. Kyle Furlow is from Jacksonville, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Alabama and his Master of Health Informatics along with his Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. His current professional interests include critical care, internal medicine, and transplant. After completing his PGY1, he hopes to pursue a PGY2 in one of his interests. Ultimately, he intends to become a clinical specialist at an academic medical center, where he can conduct research and precept students and residents. Outside of pharmacy, Kyle enjoys exercising, spending time with his golden retriever, trying out new restaurants, and finding the best place to get coffee.


Sahand Golpayegany, PharmD

Sahand Golpayegany, PharmD

Dr. Sahand Golpayegany is from Marietta, Georgia. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy at The University of Georgia. His professional interests include infectious disease, solid organ transplant, and ambulatory care. After his PGY-1, Sahand plans to pursue a PGY-2 in infectious disease and ultimately become a clinical specialist and work in either regulatory affairs or pharmaceutical industry. Outside of pharmacy, Sahand loves to travel, try a new restaurants and breweries, and try different methods of making coffee.


Michelle Knizner

Michelle Knizner, PharmD

Dr. Michelle Knizner is from Richmond, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her current professional interests include solid organ transplant, internal medicine, and hematology/oncology. After completing her PGY-1 residency, Michelle hopes to pursue a PGY-2 residency in one of her areas of interest. Ultimately, she hopes to become a clinical specialist at an academic medical center, where she can pursue opportunities in academia, precepting, and research. In her free time, Michelle enjoys exercising, learning to golf, and trying new restaurants in the ATL!


Tamyah Pipkin

Tamyah Pipkin, PharmD

Dr. Tamyah Pipkin is from Lexington, Kentucky. She received both her Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Kentucky (Go CATS!). Her current professional interests include critical care, emergency medicine and, possibly, solid organ transplant. After completing her PGY-1, she hopes to pursue a PGY-2 in one of her interest areas with long term goals of practicing as a specialist, precepting students, and participating in meaningful research that benefits women and marginalized communities. In her free time, Tamyah enjoys trying new restaurants, taking long naps, hot yoga, petting other people's dogs, and spending time with her friends.


Sarah Rowe

Sarah Rowe, PharmD

Dr. Sarah Rowe is from Pawleys Island, South Carolina. She completed her undergraduate prerequisites at the University of South Carolina and Doctor of Pharmacy at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her current interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and solid organ transplant. After completion of her PGY-1, Sarah hopes to pursue a PGY-2 in one of her areas of interest at an academic medical center and ultimately practice as a clinical pharmacy specialist. Outside of pharmacy, Sarah enjoys drinking red wine, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!

EUH PGY-2 Critical Care

	 Maddie Sheffield Cooper, PharmDMaddie Sheffield Cooper, PharmD

Dr. Maddie Cooper is from Birmingham, Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and completed her PGY-1 residency at EUH. Her current professional interests include critical care, antimicrobial and fluid stewardship, and delirium prevention. After completing her PGY-2 in critical care, she has career goals of practicing as a critical care specialist, precepting students and residents, and advancing the field of pharmacy through research and leadership. Outside of pharmacy, Maddie enjoys running on the Atlanta Beltline, traveling and exploring new places, playing fetch with her cat, and spending time with her family.

Megan Kelly

Megan Kelly, PharmD

EUHM Chief Resident

Dr. Megan Kelly grew up in Murfreesboro, TN. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as well as her Master of Public Health from the University of Memphis. She completed her PGY1  pharmacy residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Megan’s clinical areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship and infectious diseases research. In her free time she enjoys hiking, hanging out with her family at the lake, and playing frisbee with her dog.

Natalie DelozierNatalie Delozier, PharmD

Dr. Natalie Delozier is from Fishers, Indiana. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Emory University Hospital. After completion of her PGY-2 in internal medicine, Natalie hopes to practice as an internal medicine clinical specialist where she can conduct research and precept students and residents. Outside of pharmacy, Natalie enjoys exercising, hiking, and exploring new restaurants.

Teresa GennaroTeresa Gennaro, PharmD

EUH Chief Resident

Dr. Teresa Gennaro is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana and completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Emory University Hospital. Teresa’s professional interests include solid organ transplant infectious diseases and transitions of care. After completion of her PGY-2, Teresa hopes to practice as a solid organ transplant clinical specialist at an academic medical center, where she can provide patient counseling, conduct research, and precept pharmacy learners. Outside of pharmacy, Teresa enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants, watching LSU football (Geaux Tigers!), and spending quality time with family and friends.

Rachel LeongRachel Leong, PharmD

Dr. Rachel Leong is from Johns Creek, Georgia. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia. Her current professional interests include nutrition support and ambulatory care. Her goals after completing her fellowship are to practice as a nutrition support pharmacist with opportunities in leadership and research. Outside of pharmacy, Rachel enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and trying new restaurants.
