Gisele Beaubien, PharmD
Dr. Gisèle Beaubien is originally from Suwanee, Georgia. She went to undergraduate school at the University of Georgia, and she went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Master of Science degree with an emphasis in drug safety and pharmacovigilance here as well. Her professional interests include oncology, academia, and research. Following her PGY1 year, Dr. Beaubien aspires to complete a PGY2 in oncology and obtain board certification. In her free time, she enjoys serving her community, playing pickle ball, and quality time with friends and family.
Kaitlin Jacobwith, PharmD
Dr. Kaitlin Jacobwith is originally from St. Peter’s, Missouri. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi and continued on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Her current professional interests include oncology, critical care, and cardiology. Dr. Jacobwith is interested in pursuing a PGY2 in one of her areas of interest, becoming board certified, and hopes to contribute to the future of pharmacy through research and mentoring students. When she isn’t at the hospital, Kaitlin enjoys working out, reading books, facetiming friends and family, and watching hockey.
Zoe Krenz, PharmD
Dr. Zoe Krenz is originally from Augusta, Georgia. She went to undergraduate school at Augusta University and went on to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Her professional interests include ambulatory care, internal medicine, and academia. Dr. Krenz is interested in pursuing a PGY-2 in either ambulatory care or internal medicine with the intent to become a clinical pharmacy professor. When not at the hospital, she enjoys reading, crafting, trying new food, and spending time with her loved ones.
Rachel Maruyama, PharmD
Dr. Rachel Maruyama is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. She went to undergraduate school at the University of Arizona where she went on to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Her professional interests include solid organ transplant, infectious disease, and academia. After completing her PGY1 year, Dr. Maruyama is interested in pursuing a PGY2 in one of her interest areas, becoming board certified, and contributing to the future of pharmacy through mentoring and precepting the next generation of pharmacists. Outside of pharmacy, Rachel enjoys baking, being outdoors, crocheting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Ryan Sarvestani, PharmD
Dr. Ryan Sarvestani is originally from Suwanee, Georgia. He went to undergraduate school at the University of Georgia where he went on to earn his Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science with an emphasis in regulatory affairs. His professional interests include critical care, cardiology, infectious disease, and academia. Dr. Sarvestani is interested in pursuing a PGY2 in critical care and being involved with mentoring and precepting students along the way. His personal interests include flying, snowboarding, wake surfing, and enjoying time spent with family and friends.
Bayard Taylor II, PharmD
Dr. Bayard A. Taylor II is originally from Columbus, Georgia. He completed his prerequisites at the University of Georgia where he went onto complete his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. His professional interests include infectious diseases, critical care, and academia. Dr. Taylor is interested in pursuing a PGY-2 in either infectious diseases or critical care with the intent of becoming a clinical pharmacy professor. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, video games, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
