Sleep Lab

Good sleep is essential for a sharp mind and a healthy body. Memory and concentration, heart health, immune function and more depend on getting regular good nights’ rest. When you don’t sleep well, your risk for serious health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and stroke increases.

At Emory Hospital Warner Robins Sleep Lab, we specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of sleep disorders. We offer advanced diagnostic testing, including sleep studies, and customized treatment plans for both common and complex sleep conditions.

Conditions We Treat

Conditions we diagnose and treat include:

  • Excessive daytime sleepiness: Feeling overly tired during the day, often because of an underlying sleep disorder.

  • Insomnia: Difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, which can lead to long-term health problems if left untreated.

  • Narcolepsy: A chronic neurological disorder leading to sudden and uncontrollable sleep episodes.

  • Parasomnias: Unusual behaviors during sleep, such as sleepwalking, night terrors and sleep-eating.

  • Restless leg syndrome (RLS) and periodic limb movements (PLM): Uncomfortable sensations or involuntary movements in the legs that disrupt sleep

  • Sleep apnea: Obstructive and central sleep apnea, both of which cause breathing interruptions during sleep.

  • Snoring: Often a harmless condition, but may indicate a more serious sleep disorder, like sleep apnea.
