Every year, more than 200 Houston County residents volunteer at Emory Hospital Warner Robins. They operate our gift shop, staff information desks, deliver mail to patients and more.

Volunteer Programs at Emory Hospital Warner Robins
Volunteers donate thousands of hours of their free time to serve our patients and staff. The following volunteer programs are available.

Local clergy members may volunteer through our Chaplaincy Program. Chaplains give their time and talents to our patients, their families, staff members and physicians.

The Gift Connection is the gift shop at Emory Hospital Warner Robins. Money raised through the shop and other fundraising activities is donated back to the hospital. We use these funds to benefit patients and improve their overall experience.

During the summer months, adolescent volunteers ages 16 and older learn about different aspects of health care through our VolunTEEN Program. They learn about the health care setting while gaining real-life experience in fields that include:
- Information technology (IT)
- IV therapy
- Outpatient surgery
- Patient transport
- Radiology
- Respiratory care
VolunTEEN Applications
We select applicants based on their interest in the health care field and their willingness to volunteer. You must serve at least one 4-hour shift each week during the six-week program.
