How We Collect Patient Feedback
We partner with Press Ganey (now part of Qualtrics) to survey patients following outpatient visits. Surveys are delivered by email or text message. Most patients are invited to participate unless they have completed a survey for another Emory clinic visit within the previous 3 days.
All ratings and comments displayed on Emory Healthcare provider profiles come from surveys associated with verified Emory Healthcare patient encounters.
How Ratings & Comments Are Posted
Patient comments are reviewed by trained staff using established publication criteria. Comments that meet these criteria are posted exactly as submitted and are not edited.
To ensure sufficient patient feedback, provider ratings and comments are displayed only after:
- At least 30 completed surveys have been received for the provider during the previous 24 months
- Comments and ratings remain published for 24 months and then roll off on an ongoing basis
Important Information About Online Reviews
Ratings and reviews displayed on Emory provider profiles reflect feedback collected through Emory Healthcare's patient survey program and represent the experiences of verified patients.
Please note that reviews posted on third-party websites, including Google and other online review platforms, are independent of Emory’s survey process. These sites operate separately, and the content displayed on these platforms is outside of Emory's control.
